Granny Flower Coasters

These cheerful coasters in autumn colors are easy to make, fun to gift or use for your own home. They coordinate well with traditional and farmhouse decor.

MATERIALS

Color A Loops & Threads Creme Cotton, Cream, 1 ball
Color B Loops & Threads Creme Cotton, Pumpkin, 1 ball
Color C Loops & Threads Creme Cotton, Mustard, 1 ball
Size US H/8 (5 mm) crochet hook

MEASUREMENTS

Approximately 4 3/8" in diameter

INSTRUCTIONS

Coaster 1

Round 1: With yarn A, make a magic circle. Ch 4, *dc, ch 1*. Repeat from * 10 times for a total of 11 dc, 11 ch 1 and 1 ch 4. Sl st to 3rd ch of ch 4. Finish off.

Round 2: With yarn B, join with a dc in any ch 1 space. Dc in same space, ch 1. *2 dc, ch 1 in next ch 1 space.* Repeat from * around. Join to first dc. 24 dc, 12 ch spaces. Finish off.

Round 3: With yarn A, join with dc in any ch space. 2 dc in same space, ch 1. *3 dc, ch 1 in next ch 1 space.* Repeat from * around. 36 dc, 12 ch spaces. Finish off.

Round 4: With yarn B, join with sl st in 2nd dc of Round 3. 4 dc in next ch 1 space. *Skip next dc, sl st in next dc. 4dc in next ch 1 space.* Repeat from * around. Sl st in first sl st. Finish off. Weave in loose ends.

Coaster 2

Round 1: With yarn A, follow instructions for Round 1 in Coaster 1. Finish off.

Round 2: With yarn C, follow instructions for Round 2 in Coaster 1.

Round 3: With yarn A, follow instructions for Round 3 in Coaster 1.

Round 4: With yarn C, follow instructions for Round 4 in Coaster 1.
